Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro’ the web,
Not a browser was stirring, not even that Edge,
The stockings were hung to high in the air,
In hopes that the wi-fi would download software;

The css folded the page in a twist,
While visions of icons rotated amiss,
And Mozilla in safe mode and Chrome in a snap,
Loaded a page that seemed like a trap.

When out on the desktop popped up a stern warning,
I paused the browsing to see what’s alarming,
Away went the windows in a bright blue flash,
Straight to the darkness and sudden silence;

The room was as quiet as a cold snowy night,
No Signal screamed the flashing monitor light,
The power button clicked but to no avail,
The computer ran like a lethargic snail.

We looked at the ports and examined the ram,
We scanned all the files and deleted the spam,
We found a wire that seemed flimflam,
The computer fired up with a beep and a flight,

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good byte!
